Bývalý šéf Primy Chajda bude řídit Aegis Media v ČR

31. 7. 2008

LN to sdělil sám Novák.

Press release: Rudolf Novak hands over CEO responsibility in Aegis Media Czech Republic

Rudolf Novak, the long-serving CEO of the Aegis Media Group in Czech Republic, will be successively withdrawing from active involvement after 38 years successful work in the industry, including almost 20 years at Aegis Media. He will, however, retain close ties with our company, and continue to act as an experienced consultant to Aegis Media.

Effective 1. August 2008, Petr Chajda will be appointed Managing Director of Aegis Media Czech Republic, and then succeed Rudolf Novak as CEO. In this function, he will be particularly responsible for Aegis Media’s strategic development in Czech Republic, focusing on new business and on opening up new communication areas. Petr Chajda was most recently COO at Prima TV, Czech Republic’s second-biggest TV marketer, and before that CEO of the TV newcomer TV Barrandov.

Petr began his career in 1993 as a consultant at KPMG Prague, before serving in various posts from 1994 onwards in the PPF Group, the country’s largest financial services provider, focusing primarily on finance, investment and media. From 2002 to 2006, for example, he served as board member of TV Nova, the market leader in the TV sector, and part of PPF. Petr will be drawing on his long years of experience in various managerial positions and his vast fund of superlative expertise in the fields of finance, communication, media and marketing.

Andreas Bölte, CEO Aegis Media Central Europe & South Africa, commented: “Rudolf has put Aegis Media in a successful position in the Czech market. Under his leadership we have built a diversified communications business in Czech Republic. With the establishment of the office in Prague, he has from 1992 to 2008 continuously played a crucial role in building up and progressing the operations of the Aegis Media Group in Czech Republic, making the company into what it is today: a healthy and successful organisation. We thank him for his high level of commitment and his team approach over many long years.”

“With Petr Chajda as the successor of Rudolf Novak, we have found the perfect leader who is strong, practical and experienced in the communication business. I have no doubt that, together with our experienced local management team, featuring Martin Mlynek, Managing Director AMCS, Daniel Tvrz, Managing Director Carat, Simon Leitner, Managing Director Vizeum and Roman Filla, CFO Aegis Media, he will continue running the business successfully and lead us through the next phase of development in Czech Republic.”
